FACT: everyone wants a Vitamix blender.

Even I want a Vitamix blender. Instead of grainy-but-still-delicious Raw Cashew Persian Dreamcake (for example) I could make whipped-to-dreamboat-submission cake! Having a Vitamix means you can make all of the recipes you’ve been eyeing… you know, the soups/smoothies/”cheesecakes” that can’t be made with a lazy $16 blender like my current one. Even if you already have a Vitamix, you should definitely enter to win a free extra one, because you can give it away and be an utter hero. Heroine. Your choice.

  2. Since my blender broke, I’ve been unable to make smoothies. I mis smoothies! So that is the first thing I would make! Then maybe some cashew “cheesecake”. Yum!

  17. I’d definitely make butternut squash soup — so much better to blend, not mash!

  18. My mom makes excellent fruit smoothies with them… And the one thing I don’t think a normal blender can do is blend whole slices of lemon… Seeds and all… Into the smoothie to get all the benefits of the fruit. They taste great and are a wonderful way to start the day!

  21. Oh my goodness I WOULD make the Raw cashew Persian dreamcake. I love cashews and pistachios and all the rest of the ingredients. Yum Yum!
